Artwork at Kibler & Kirch | Billings, Montana

I create original wildlife paintings in wool and silk from my studio in Montana. From across a room, they look much like traditional paintings. Up close, the layers of fiber create texture, depth, and a sculptural quality that sets them apart.
Animals have been central to much of my life and work. I want each animal I portray to feel like an individual, with its own character and presence. I pay close attention to anatomy and expression, while allowing myself the freedom to explore color and atmosphere.
I work with interior designers, including Kibler & Kirch in Billings and Jane Starr in Bigfork, Montana.
My paintings are typically presented in custom wood frames handcrafted by my husband specifically for each piece. A variety of framing styles, from traditional to contemporary, can be tailored to complement the artwork and its setting. I use Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic for its exceptional clarity, minimal reflections, and UV protection.
I welcome inquiries from designers interested in available artwork or commissions for particular spaces. I'm happy to discuss size, color, and other considerations when selecting or creating a piece for a client.
